Senior / Principal Recruitment Consultant

📍 Location: Reading (2-minute walk from Reading Train Station)
💷 Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + lucrative monthly commission
🕒 Full-time | Office-based
📅 25 days annual leave + bank holidays


We’re working with a high-growth recruitment business that’s making big moves in the tech sector. As part of their continued expansion, they’re looking to hire a Senior or Principal Recruitment Consultant to join their team and play a key role in scaling operations and delivering top-tier talent to innovative clients.

This is a 360 role with the chance to step into a warm desk, while also driving business development and contributing to long-term growth strategy.


The Role

  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients in the technology sector.

  • Proactively identify and win new business opportunities.

  • Source, screen, and manage candidates through platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and your own network.

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from briefing to placement and beyond.

  • Deliver tailored hiring solutions with a focus on high-performing software and product teams.

  • Be a brand ambassador for the agency, delivering excellence in every interaction.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a 360 recruitment or business development role (tech market experience ideal).

  • Strong business development and client acquisition skills.

  • A confident relationship builder with the ability to understand both technical and cultural hiring needs.

  • Clear communicator with strong time management and attention to detail.

  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and motivated by long-term career growth.

  • Flexibility to support client needs outside standard hours when required.
