Build & Lead an Engineering Division – With Full P&L Ownership
We are partnering with an established, well-invested recruitment business based in Reading that has successfully scaled a high-performing IT division.
They are now launching their Engineering vertical and are seeking a Lead Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of developing and scaling this new division.
This isn’t just another senior consultant role – it’s an opportunity to build a division, manage your own P&L, and shape the strategic direction of Engineering within a profitable and ambitious business.

The Role
This is a 360 recruitment position with a strong emphasis on both business development and delivery.
You will:

Develop and execute the Engineering growth strategy

Drive new business and secure exclusive client partnerships

Leverage warm, high-value introductions into key Engineering accounts

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from client briefing to offer management
-
Build long-term, consultative relationships with Engineering clients
-
Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of the division
What We’re Looking For

Proven 360 recruitment experience (Engineering sector preferred)

Strong track record in business development and client acquisition
-
Ambition to build and lead a vertical, not just manage a desk

Commercial awareness with interest in P&L responsibility

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
-
High standards, professionalism, and a results-driven mindset
